31 Weeks! That means… 9 more to GO!

Nothing has changed much within the week. Still no stretchmarks. Just a lot of lower pressure in the back, abdomen, and pelvic region. Unfortunately, last Wednesday we had a little scare. I was contracting every 15-20 minutes so we went on in to get checked to make sure baby Brysen wasn’t coming early. THANKFULLY he isn’t and we’re pretty much in the clear again for another 2 weeks.

I’ll post a picture once i take one. The fatigue has kicked back but it’s mixed with insomnia if that makes any sense.

Just gotta stay positive and know that in 9 weeks (or less) i’ll have a little monkey to keep me occupied to give me a reason not to sleep.

I finally feel like i’m getting close to the end of my pregnancy. It’s been a whirlwind for me and a totally different pregnancy then i had with my daughter. Everything from mood, physical body changes, and even self esteem. It amazes me how different each pregnancy was is / was for me when in the end, you have the same outcome: the birth of your new bundle of joy.

Technically today, i’m 30.1 weeks, and should have posted this yesterday, but had a lack of motivation (once again) to blog. But i pressured myself to get back on track with my blogging because i regretted not fully documenting my pregnancy with my daughter, and i don’t want that this time around with my son.

Sanaiyah is starting to adapt to the fact she’s going to be an ‘ateh‘ now. She rubs my belly and waits for her brother to kick her little hand and starts cracking up when she can feel him. She’s also always constantly kissing my belly and helping me with getting his things organized. She’s such a good little helper and i’m excited to see how she’s going to react when he’s here. I know she’s going to go on her lil jealous ti raid since she is the ONLY child and is super duper spoiled by me, her dad, and all her grandparents, aunts, and uncles. But i think she’ll come around a lot sooner then i would expect and will love her lil brother.

So far here’s a quick lil update on how my pregnancy is / going:

• Only had really bad morning sickness for 1 week at the beginning of the pregnancy
• Daddy ended up catching all the morning sickness (teeheehee)
• Started showing a lot sooner than i did with my daughter.
• Had a gut intuition that we were having a boy.
• Went into pre-term labor at 4 months and have been on bed rest since.
• Cravings: Caramel Mochiattos, Kim Chee Fried Rice, Steak, Chocolate.
• Broke out with dull skin all over my face.
• Early on back pain, swollen feet, and hands.
• This time around, i can’t fit into my regular clothes. I actually had to go maternity.

It’s amazing to see the changes day by day, but boy am i ready to have this pregnancy over with. I am soooo over it and have been over it, that i’m counting down the days. 11/11/11 couldn’t come any sooner!
